Initially we had both been having lessons individually with Julie after she was highly recommended by another singer. Her approach & vast knowledge did wonders for both of our voices & confidence, so we regularly performed & entered competitions as soloists.
We began singing together for fun in the house but soon realised our voices blended well together so started having lessons as a duo. Julie was amazing at helping us with the arrangement of songs & perfecting our harmonies & showing us how to connect more on stage together.
Julie had regularly put us forward for all of the TV shows & in 2017 Shannon made through to the final selection stages of The Voice which was an amazing experience.
When Julie suggested she put us forward to the producers of All Together Now we thought it was the perfect show to go for as The Hurst Sisters. Actually making onto the show was a dream come true, we loved every minute & can’t thank Julie enough for her help & support!
